Templates in Canva

You can create an infographic in Canva by using pre-made templates or making your own. Just search for "infographic" to find the templates.

The Requirements

  1. Quotes: You should include at least one relevant quote for each section (Character Analysis, Nature and McCandless, and Debate). This quote should directly support your analysis and interpretations of the topics.

  2. Explanations: For each quote, provide a clear explanation of what it says and why it matters. This should be a thoughtful analysis that goes beyond a simple summary of the quote.

  3. Visuals: Use visuals to enhance your infographic and make it more engaging. This could include images, icons, and design elements related to the content of each section. For example, you could use a map to represent McCandless's journey, with each section represented as a location on the map.

  4. Design: Your infographic should be visually cohesive and easy to follow. Use Canva’s design tools to create a consistent color scheme and typography style throughout your infographic.

  5. Citations: Make sure to cite the source of your quote properly. This could be done in a small font at the bottom of the quote or in a dedicated section at the end of the infographic.

  6. Creativity: Use your creativity to make your infographic unique. This could be in the form of your design choices, how you present your quote and explanation, or the additional elements you include to enhance your infographic.
